Happy 4th of July!!

Date: July 4th

The real day is finally here!
Happy Fourth of July!!

The kids were exhausted from the late night and slept in.

So we skipped the church breakfast activity

and had our own patriotic breakfast at home.

The big kids tried to master the art of a group selfie.

They might need a bit more practice! lol

Then we headed to the Anthem waterpark.

It's just too dang hot to do anything non water related!

We had Owen and Kaitlyn with us too!

We hardly go anywhere without a few extra friends joining in!

While the big kids swam,

me and Easy E chilled in the baby pool!

Then it was back home for a late lunch and naps for the littles

Later that night we had a little firework party with a bunch of neighbors!

Once again little Eastlie couldn't make it until the fireworks began.

The last straw for her was when her red popsicle melted and fell.

I couldn't resist a pic of those huge teary baby blue eyes and red stained face! lol

Then Daddy walked her back home to bed while I stayed with the rest of the kids.

And then there's Laiklyn who had melted popsicle literally everywhere on her.

But that didn't slow her down! lol

(and yes Taylee was super proud of the star braid I put in her hair!)

The kids had a great time hanging with their neighbor friends.

Then back home before bed we had to take our annual sparkler picture!

(which Laiky did almost light her jammies on fire during this!)

What a super fun action packed few days.
We sure do love America and all the freedoms it gives us!!
