Idaho Bound

Date: July 11th

The day is finally here!!

The kids have been counting down for a month!

It's IDAHO TIME!!!

We have all been seriously so giddy!

We just love our Idaho trips SO much!

This trip was a bit different though.

Ryan had to work so I was flying out to Idaho alone with the kiddos.

Then he would meet us there in a few days.

I was a tad nervous traveling solo with FOUR kids.

But I knew Anden and Taylee would be a huge help with Laiklyn.

And they sure were!!

Ryan helped us get the luggage checked in
and then we were on our own!!

I wore my most appropriate shirt for the occasion!

Luckily the Mesa Airport is so tiny!!

Much more manageable when I'm severely outnumbered!

We got through security shockingly easy.

Then had a yummy lunch at probably the last Paradise Bakery in Arizona!

Panera Bread was have forgotten about this little one hidden inside this airport! ha

Then we got the pity and were able to pre-board with the suckers that paid for it!

Woohoo!

The kids decided to have Laiky sit with them and then me and Eastlie across the aisle!

I think I got the better of that deal!! ;)

Anden and (primarily) Taylee entertained her the entire 2 hr flight!!

They all did so well!!

Then I had happy but nonstop wiggle worm with me!

The flight was right at 1pm during naptime.

So I was hoping both the littles would crash out.

Oh no.

Laikylyn was super charged the entire flight.

Eastlie finally gave in with 20 mins left...on the descent into Idaho Falls!! lol ugh

Papa Nolie was there waiting curbside for us!!

We were all so thrilled to finally be there!!

Of course there was the usual "hey where's the snow?!" 

One day my kids will learn what seasons are! lol

We were able to swing right by my Mom's house and see her for a bit!

That was much anticipated since we haven't seen her since Christmas

and since before her big surgery!

It was a quick visit but exactly what we needed to hold us through until the next visit!

Then we loaded back up into the sweatbox oh I mean the Suburban with no a/c

and headed on to Blackfoot.

Oh now she decides to fall asleep?!

Once we arrived to Papa Nolie's house we bolted in to see

what the finished product looked like!!!

(remember during Christmas we lived in a construction zone!!)

The place was huge and gorgeous and had a kitchen and even running water!! lol

Then it was right outside to play in the cool country weather and open fields!

Do our smiles show how happy we are to finally be in Idaho?!

(and not be melting if we step outside!!)

These girlies were so excited to play together!!

And don't forget the solo boy Anden! lol

He's such a good sport with all these girls!!

 

We love that the sun doesn't set in Idaho until 10pm!!
More and more time for playing!

Finally these crazy kids crashed asleep!
Gotta recharge for a fun week ahead!!
