Back to School

Date: Aug 7th

And in the blink of eye

(no like really! summer keeps getting shorter here!!)

the big kids are back in school!!

We finished up the hair cuts, assembled the teacher gifts and picked out the first day clothes.

Then we laid everything out the night before!

Even after this many years I still get a little nervous that I have everything ready for them.

So seeing this sight makes my heart happy.

We did it!  Yet again! lol

Teacher Gifts

(Anden really dislikes this part.  I assure him it pays off to start on the teacher's good side!! ha)

I made them a yummy back to school breakfast

and all sorts of goodies in their lunches!

Then it was time for a few pics to document the occasion! :)

And then all 6 of us walked to school

in the muggy 90 degrees at 8am

with me and Ryan alternating pushing a double wide stroller.

Sweaty to say the least! lol

Shockingly Anden let me take a pic while he waited in his class line

with two of his friends from church!

All went well and they were excited to see friends

and maybe not so excited to get back into the school routine! lol

And yes we celebrated with festive treats after school too! :)
