Laiky Soccer Game #4

Date: Apr 12th

Laiklyn had another Friday night game.

The weather had been great all day.

It started to get a bit breezy and cloudy before the game

so I had her grab a jacket.
She was extra excited for tonight's game because Daddy got to be the sub coach
while Coach Micah was gone!

Then to make it even better,
when we got to the game one of the other Moms had made the kids awesome game shirts!!
Team Flash shirt with even their names on the back!

The wind started to really kick up!

I was worried the kids might blow away.

Specifically the only other girl on our team,

the coach's adorable daughter Arbor,

who's literally peanut sized!

(like for real, Eastlie is taller and bigger than her and she's FOUR!)

Well good thing I grabbed jackets on our way out the door.

Because during the game a freak rain shower started

and it got really windy and cold!!

Judging by Ryan's stance and wind blow face...
I bet he's secretly wishing he had listened to me and grabbed a jacket! lol

A little sideways rain can't slow down this kid!

I would be leery if I was you Taylee.

That bull is coming in hot!! lol

Eastlie is always my little sidekick!

It really comes in handy when I can snuggle her to keep myself warm too!

And then this happened.

A full huge rainbow appeared right over our field!

Laiklyn was totally amazed and rather than playing she wanted everyone within a mile to know

that she just found a rainbow!! lol

Which then distracted every other kid to gawk at the rainbow instead of playing too!

Still telling Coach Daddy about the rainbow! lol

Despite the wind, the rain and then the rainbow distractions,

we managed to still pummel the other team.

I can to kindly remind Ryan that this is a friendly game 

and to let up on the break neck scoring pace! lol

This season is becoming so exciting and fun after all! :)
