Middle School Dance

Date: Apr 25th

The 6th and 7th Graders

had their Spring Dance tonight.

Anden and his friend Logan came home from school together.

They hung out and goofed out.

Then they went upstairs to change into something nicer for the dance.

They came down looking dance worthy and I thought we were ready to go.

Then Anden says, "Oh wait I'm not ready. I need to put my costume on."

HUH?!

And in walks a dinosaur!!

I busted up laughing!

I hated to break it to him but I highly doubted the teachers were going to allow

a dinosaur at the dance!

But props for trying kid!! lol

He was determined to try.

So with the costume on we climbed into the biggest car we own so he could fit

I told him NOT to turn on the air pump to inflate the costume

until we got to the school.

When we pulled up to the front of the school he turned on the blow up button.

Panic quickly ensued.

"HELP MOM! OPEN THE DOOR!!
My head doesn't have room and my tail is lifting me off the seat!!"

All while Logan was getting smashed against the window!!

I about fell out of the car laughing!!!

So we shoved him out the car door.

I seriously couldn't stop laughing.

Right then my girlfriend was dropping her daughter off.

So Grace kindly helped reposition Anden's tail.

And off the marched into the dance!! lol

I couldn't stop laughing.

So much for the days of trying to look your best to impress the ladies! lol

And as luck would have it, 

the teacher chaperones LOVED Anden's confidence to wear that thing

and let him right in!

Gosh I love this kid!

He's seriously so funny!
