Taylee had her grand finale soccer tourney this weekend.
And to make it memorable...
it was all the way north in Prescott!!
And to make it even more memorable...
they went undefeated and took FIRST PLACE!!

which is also my reminder that my weekend is never my weekend.
Taylee caught a ride to both of the crack of dawn games.
Yes meaning they left at 6am!! ouch!
I secretly wasn't too heartbroken to be out the door that early! lol
Saturday morning we had to be at Laiky's game and then Anden's game in town.
Then we cruised up to Prescott to join everyone for the evening game!
So nice to have cooler weather!
All the younger siblings had a blast playing in the nearby baseball field/dugout!
I love that suddenly Eastlie was old enough to hang with them
so that Ryan and I could actually watch the game!
Another awesome win for our girls!
We decided to drive Ryan's new work car since it's free gas, etc.
Taylee was thrilled when she saw that all the girls got to shove in the back together
in this micro hatchback car! haha
We grabbed Wendy's for dinner and then hit the road back home!
Sunday we all went to church and then just I drove up to Prescott
immediately after for the championship game!
It's been awhile since I took a solo road trip and could actually listen to music
instead of kid's movies in the background!
It was relaxing to say the least! lol
Especially when some old school R&B starts playing!
The girls had all gone out to lunch together and lounged around back at the fields
in between the games.
We were playing the same team they just beat up earlier this morning.
So it was a shoo in that we would win again.
Well let's just say they we were sleep walking the first half!!
The other team got up on us by 2 goals.
They've never even scored on us once the 3 times we played them this season!
The parents were getting a tad frantic on the sideline
trying to get these girls to start playing like they normally do.
Luckily the second half was a totally different game.
Once we broke through and got one goal,
the momentum shifted and we took back control of the game and won!

This was Coach Cierra and Coach Megan's last game with us.
League rules are that coaches switch teams every 2 years.
We all were all a tad more emotional than we expected to be to say our final good byes!
(not that we won't see them often at events though!)
These two really inspired Taylee to take her game to the next level these last 2 years!

Remember I came straight from church!
Then it was straight to Dairy Queen to celebrate!
What an awesome ending to a super fun season!
And now we'll be back at tryouts in 2 weeks!
