HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDEN!

Wow! I can't believe our little boy is already THREE years old!! It seems like just the other day we were nervously buckling him up in his car seat for the first time to bring him home from the hospital! He was so tiny and fragile! Now look at how big and strong and crazy and funny he is!!

In honor of Anden's big day, I have compiled some of my favorite things about him.

• His big crystal blue eyes and the way they mischievously twinkle or how they can tell me a story without using words or the way they glisten when welled up with tears


• His funny personality. He's always saying or doing something that has everyone laughing.


• His "white hair". I couldn't picture him as anything other than a toe head! It fits his personality so well!


• His spirit. He's brave, intrepid, fearless. He'll never back down to a challenge (or race!)


• His intelligence. I have to remind myself daily that mischievous witty kids are the smart ones. He always has something brewing in that little toe head of his.


• His tight hugs and snuggles. I love that he's not too big to snuggle with his Mommy and can hug me so tight my head almost pops off.


• His sweet little voice and the way he absolutely melts my heart when he says, "I love you Mommy. You're my best friend!"


• And finally, the way that he makes my heart skip a beat and my eyes well up with tears when I think about how much he means to me and our family.
