Sunday afternoon I attempted to make Christmas Cookies
alone with the kids.
alone with the kids.
I admit. I'm a tad OCD.
So allowing them FULL control
of the frosting, sprinkles and decorations
about made me break out into hives.
But oh did they have fun!
Especially when I left the room for 20 seconds
to grab my camera.

When I returned,
I could no longer find their cookies.
Instead was just 2 huge piles of sugar crystal sprinkles
and 2 empty bottles of sprinkles.
I didn't find this funny.
Instead I was breathing into a paper bag.
Eventually we were able to excavate through the sprinkle mounds
and what do you know
a cookie was still underneath.
