Today was the last day of the vacation for Jeremy, Lyndsay & Aaron.
So we had to fit in as much as possible!
We spent the morning lounging in Blackfoot.
And cramming as much into the suitcases as possible.
Then we headed to Idaho Falls.
For a last minute Family Photo Shoot.
Of course it was the COLDEST day of the year.
So outdoor pictures weren't the best idea.
Don't be fooled by the sun, I think it was -47 degrees with wind chill!
But we were tough and braved it!
Well, for 30 mins at least!
Here's some "behind the scenes" pictures.
Just be glad there's no video or audio footage.
Trust me; it wasn't pretty!
When our limbs had succumbed to frostbite,
we finally gave in and headed home.
Backyard photos would have to do!
Of course after we thawed out!
When we were finally warm enough to go back out for pictures,
MY son instantly bursts into the worst bloody nose!
Seriously?! C'mon honey stick a plug in it.
The WHOLE family is waiting!
Time out - medical delay!
Apparently our Arizona nose membranes aren't as thick
as you Idaho folk!
The cold temps had overtaken him
(that or maybe his finger?!)
So with blood all over his shirt
and a very unhappy face,
we trudged on with the pictures anyway!
Luckily his spirits were reinstated
when he could come back inside and tackle his cousins.
Actually, we were ALL happier in the WARM house!
And yes....the final portraits are coming soon.
If I stopped blogging, maybe I would have time to edit them. :-)
