The final day of the trip :-(
It always amazes me how quickly 10 days or even 3 wks fly by
when we're visiting Idaho!
Maybe that's because we don't stay in one spot
for more than 3 days! lol
Today was awesome weather again!
(because we rarely get to experience it in AZ)
Overcast, drizzling rain ALL day, chilly temps in the 60s!
We went for a rhino ride to the gravel pits.
But not before appropriately dressing for the elements. :-)
We headed home for lunch and naps.
I stressed to the kids how important naps were today
so that they would be nice to me later that night on the flight home!!
Taylee clearly understood the message and went right to sleep.
We played on the neighbors' bike one last time
And then we sadly headed to the airport.
Only to find out that ever so reliable Allegiant Airlines was delayed 2 hours.
Once on the flight,
I realized I checked the suitcase with the DVD player.
Ugh!
And here I thought I really outsmarted them to get a free checked bag.
Needless to say it was a LONG flight home
with not an ounce of sleep!
Arrival in Anthem, AZ: 10:30pm!
But it was ALL worth it!
We LOVE Idaho!
We LOVE family!
