We had planned to go to church that morning with Jordan and Bree.
But Bree wasn't feeling too well so we figured that was a great reason
to play hookey instead! ;)
We lounged around the house and the park.
Then attempted a mini family photo shoot.
I had originally planned to do one at the beach.
But 2 seconds with Laiklyn and I realized that would be a complete disaster.
So Jordan's backyard would be the perfect easy setting instead! haha
Which means Jordan was our photographer for part of the time!
Just what he wanted to do on a lovely Sunday morning! ;)

Soon after Bree's mom dropped off Rachel and off we headed to the beach again!
This time we went to Malibu.
The waves were even more ferocious there!
Once again the kids were nonstop in the water
There were a bunch of riptides that people kept getting stuck in.
So we got to see quite the action as twice the lifeguards, lifeguard trucks
lifeguard boat and lifeguard helicopter had to race out and rescue people!!
Needless to say we kept a closer eye on the kids today, especially brave Anden!

and thought she could just walk right out into the ocean herself.

We finally tied Laiklyn down in her new stroller.
Ahh the only 5 mins of peace all day!!
We loaded up and headed back to Jordan's house to relax.
The crazy busy child passed out 2 minutes into the drive!
That night Bree's Mom came over and we BBQ'd and had a great time
just hanging outside in the awesome weather.
We played a fun board game with the older kids.
(well I missed half of it wrestling Laiklyn to bed)
Then we dumped the rest of the kids in bed
so the adults could chill by the fire pit and make s'mores!
As usual we stayed up too late chatting and laughing
and then were inevitably up too early thanks to Laiklyn! lol
Oh well gotta make most of the time with relatives!
