Well at the last minute Anden decided not to play Baseball this fall
instead he wanted to play Football with his buddies.
So I scrambled to get him on the team after the deadline
and that meant I offered up Ryan to be the Assistant Coach! :)
So they've been practicing twice a week for a few weeks now.
The first game was when we were in California.
The boys were bummed to miss it
but quickly forgot about it while we were basking at the beach! lol
So on Saturday was our first game isntead!
They're a new team in a league where the other teams have been together
for multiple years.
So to say we're the complete UNDERdogs is and UNDERstatement!
But hey at least their uniforms look good while they're getting pounded! ;)

I told him with that hairstyle he would definitely be memorable...
so let's hope that means for a good reason! ;)

And then we quickly retreated back to the comforts of air conditioning!
It was a brutal 105 degrees at game time!
I'm excited to see the transformation of this team.
Most of the kids have never played.
But they're learning quickly!
I guess getting your butts kicked motivates you to figure out the sport! ;)
