I didn't get back to Dad's house until late the previous night.
So it wasn't until the morning when I could check out his construction zone!
Now that the beast of a home remodel/addition is finished
they're working on redoing the landscape.
It's progressed since we were there in July!
But never thought I would see my childhood yard in this shape! lol

Holy cow he finally ripped out all those overgrown trees!!!
Wow you can even see Grandma's house now through the field!
The new driveway and sidewalks have been paved and are all fancy now.
Don't mind "flat top" the work truck in the driveway!
Hey you can't be too fancy now after all in the country! lol
My HOA would literally give me a fine if I parked that thing in my driveway! haha
Then it was right back up to Mom's house by 9am for the entire day.
Today was a bit easier emotionally.
I still had a few meltdowns but otherwise we got most of those out of the way yesterday.
Brad came home early from work so we were able to just hang out
and work on little projects.
Mom felt good enough to go tour a couple of locations for our Fall Family Dinner in November.
Then it was off to pick up Lyndsay from the airport.
I was still living up my only child status! lol
But I was super excited to have Lynds get here too!
We're partners in crime!
And she was coming for the first time ever without kids too!!
Luke's family came over for dinner and we just all hung out and enjoyed being together!
We just hung out and chatted and cried and laughed all night.
Then it was back to Blackfoot to sleep.
The next morning we headed back up to Idaho Falls.
We went directly to see my other niece Jeslynn cheer at a football game!
It was SO stinkin cold and windy!
Typical Idaho weather.
Gave me PTSD thinking of my cheer days in the freezing snowing temps
yet still wearing an itty bitty skirt! haha
Jazzy and her many years ago cheerleader Aunts! lol
She performed a cute little halftime
She's the one on the far left.
Then it was back to Mom's to hang out the rest of the day.
We helped her sort through old stuff
and then finally dug out all the pictures of our childhood.
Now that was a barrel of laughs to go through!
Most of these pictures we hadn't ever seen!!
So we sorted them for each sibling
and then I took all the precious oldies with me back home
to scan and give copies to my siblings!
(Me at the airport the next day clutching the prized pics of my youth!
You don't know how long I waited to see these things!!)
Eventually Lynds and I headed back to Blackfoot later that night.
We just knew if we stayed in Idaho Falls Mom wouldn't go to sleep.
It was just too much fun us girlies hanging out!
