It seriously rains a lot here in this ole desert.
But this winter seems like it's been way more than usual!
We still love us a good rainy day and get giddy about it!
The forecast called for rain all week!
We were ready for it!
Laiky wore the entire rain suit to school! :)
Eastlie and I ran some errands after we dropped Laiky off.
The entire time it just poured!
When we got back to the house we were pleasantly surprised to see how well
the turf soaked up the rain.
Normally the entire back yard would be flooded
and it would have been up under the patio to our sliding glass door by now!
We had just finished lunch and were chilling until naptime
when I heard loud banging on the roof.
I grabbed the girls and we ran outside to see!
Yep the rain had to turned to hail!!!
Meanwhile our family in Las Vegas were getting pounded by snow!
Like legit Idaho snow storm type snow!!!
Such crazy and exciting weather!!!
Later that night I went to pick up take out for dinner.
I couldn't believe how much hail was still piled up around Anthem!
I did lean out of my car and scoop a handful just to make sure it was hail and not snow.
Yep it was mini balls of hail melting together!
So cool!
