I swear it rains so much here!
Believe it or not.
I know we're the desert
but it rains more than it did in Idaho!!
The big kids HATE rainy days only because that means it's
rainy day schedule at school.
It's the worst.
They cancel recess and shorten their lunch hour.
They have to go straight from the cafeteria and sit quietly on the floor of the library
and watch an outdated cartoon.
I agree it's pretty miserable.
They only get that one recess all day to get out their wiggles and be social.
So I usually get a call/text from them begging me to pick them up for lunch.
And you know what
I try and make it happen every time!!
(and let's not forget the whole AZ people are wimps issue. Seriously kids can't get a little wet or muddy?!
Sheesh I was sent out to recess in lots of feet of snow and freezing temps!!)
Today Anden hit us up first.
So we cruised over and took him to lunch.
We love our little impromptu lunch dates with the big kids!
