All summer Anden and Logan have been together.
They just bounce between houses!
Anden was over at his house swimming earlier that day
(you know since our backyard is completely destroyed and unusable!)
Logan's mom sent me this pic of their fun
while I sweated staring at my dirt pile out back dreaming of one day swimming too! lol
Then the boys made their way back to our house.
Anden was begging me to take him and Logan
to the store to buy an inflatable kiddie pool.
Hhmm and why do you need a kiddie pool?
Then they explained that they were going to blow it up
and then sleep in it...inside Logan's pool tonight.
My first thought was, "HECK NO you're not doing that! That sounds crazy dangerous!"
But I decided to be the cool mom and say ok pull together your money
and I'll take you to Walmart now.
Then gathered up $20 and off we went.
I dropped them off at Logan's house soon after
with their new big box clutched under their arms.
They were SO excited!
Then I had to talk to Logan's mom to make sure she was on board.
She too had the heck no first reaction
and then decided they're kids once so have at it!
His parents were sending me updates all night.
We were cracking up laughing how excited the boys were.
We had bets how long they would last out there.
We figured they would crawl back into the house in the middle of the night
or else be up at 5am when the sun blasted them in the face.
At 8am she sends me this picture!
haha they made it all night and were in fact still asleep!!
Needless to say it was SUCH a hit.
And every 12 year old in Anthem soon duplicated it
and posted their adventure on social media too!
Luckily no mass drownings occurred!!!
