12/21/2011 - Grandkids Photo Shoot

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Mom decided in early December to try and arrange a photo shoot for the Grandkids
while we were in town.
Somehow I got nominated as the Photographer.
Photographing 5 wild kids was going to be a challenge!
But I was up for it!

To our luck (good or bad?), it snowed that entire morning for the 1st time.
Although it made the conditions COLD and MESSY
it created a perfect Christmas atmosphere!

We had 5 kids lined up
1 photographer (stunt doubling as a parent)
and 5 additional adults
cheering and bribing and threatening
the kids to cooperate.

At the time it always seems like a complete disaster
but I had faith that I had captured some good shots.

At midnight when I was downloading and editing them,
I was MORE than please with the outcome!

Introducing the Furniss Cousins

Brylee: age 7
Anden: age 5
And then the 3 3's: Jeslynn, Noah and Taylee

And then we even attempted an outfit change.
Which seemed smooth
Until we realized Anden didn't have an outfit.
Ugh, miscue by mom and myself! lol
So we attempted to entertain the kids
while Mom dashed to the store to buy another one!

The cooperativeness (what little there was!) from the kids was now 90% gone.
But we trudged on anyway.

Then we threw Mom into the mix to really spice it up!

And we all gawked in disgust/disbelief/amazement as Anden licked the entire handrail clean.

Finally we figured we better cut our losses and call it quits.
So I had Jordan take one last pic of me and mom.

Then we loaded up and headed to Arctic Circle for dinner!

But one last treat...
my favorite pic of the second session.
Jeslynn was DONE with this whole photo thing! lol

Bah Humbug!

Her Mommy wasn't as delighted with that picture as I was!
