First,
Happy Mother's Day
to all the fabulous Moms out there!
It's a ruthless yet wonderful job!
We had a good little day at our house!
We went to church in the morning.
(the kids were super excited to take a pic with me!)
The Moms got serenaded by all the adorable primary children!
My kids were both old enough this year to go up front and sing!
Taylee was loving the spotlight & that she was included this time!
(is that bad that I snuck a picture during church?!)
Then during classes all of the women got super spoiled
and the men brought us cheesecake & chocolate covered strawberries!
Delish!
After church we headed home for a fancy grilled cheese sandwich lunch.
Sorry Dad.
We keep it simple around here!
But *IF* I knew you were coming
I would have done up a fancy meal and pretended like
that was normal for us! :-)
Then we all took fabulous Sunday afternoon naps.
Ahhh one of the highlights of the day.
Dad really earned his nap from keeping up with us for 2 days!
After naps, we headed to the kids' best buddy's birthday party!
When Holly had told me the only available day for the party was Mother's Day,
I told her heck ya!
Then I was relieved of having to plan something for myself! haha
So again poor Dad got drug to a 6 yr old's crazy bowling birthday party!
The kids had a blast!
It was loud & chaotic.
Just what you would expect with 10 kids 6 & under trying to bowl!
The Birthday Boy Will
and his Super Momma Holly!
(and of course Lucy too!!)
Anden did the side arm HEAVE from about 5 ft away from the line!
But it worked!
I helped Taylee with the swinging 1,2,3 THROW!
The mischievous girls sneaking random soda drinks!
Breaking up a Bowling Ball fight
Back to happily bowling
Dad wanted a pic of his girls.
I told him good luck!
After we broke one of the bowling lanes,
we moved on to the party room!
Presents, food, sugar!
As soon as they busted out the BRIGHT BLUE cupcakes.
I knew I would be throwing away the kids' clothes!
We laughed at everyone's stained mouths (adults included)
But of course one kid took it to the extreme.
We hope you had a Happy Birthday Will!!
We loved celebrating with you.
And still have blue tongues to prove it!
