Preschool Graduation

Thursday was the Preschool Graduation Ceremony!

After THREE years,

Anden finally graduated!!

He's finally heading to Kindergarten in August!

As for Taylee,

she'll be happily back at North Canyon Preschool next year!

And yes that's Taylee in the front row blowing kisses to everyone

like the celebrity she is!

Lining up for the Pledge of Allegiance.

And it doesn't matter if you're covering your heart, lung,

rib cage, throat, chest, sternum, gall bladder or using two hands.

The patriotism was still there!

Next they sang their favorite song,

"Miss Polly had a Dolly that was Sick Sick Sick"!

Then after a little talk from the teachers,

they called the kids up one at a time to walk the graduation stairs!

And in Taylee fashion,

she's the only kid that LEAPED off the stairs.

Mrs Dyer just looked over at me and we both laughed

and threw our arms in the air.

That's just Taylee!

After the ceremony,

we ate dessert & laughed & played & took pictures with friends!

I had so many of those "heart surging" moments during this little event.

I love my kids so much

and am SO proud of them.

Although it makes me teary to see them growing up

and I just want to freeze time,

I'm amazed with the little people they're turning into!

The event started with me walking in early alone to get front row seats

and hearing a student teacher yell from the crowd,

"OMG!! ARE YOU TAYLEE'S MOM?!!

SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE YOU!"

I humbly just laughed and confirmed that I indeed was.

However I could only hope I'm as cute as Taylee!

Then the usual gang of student teacher girls ran up to me

to gush about how adorable Anden is.

Ahhh I'm so glad they are loved as much at school as they are at home!

I have thoroughly enjoyed having the kids together at the same school.

I'm so glad I held Anden back for another year of this great preschool!

Mrs Dyer joked that she wouldn't know what to do without Anden next year.

But I reminded her that she still had Taylee for another 2 years

and that will DEFINITELY keep her busy! lol
