Vote! Vote! Vote!

It's finally here!

I got my early ballot and studied all the provisions.

I filled it out last night.

I chose to drop it off instead of mail it in.

The coveted "I Voted Today" sticker was worth it to me.

I got the kids up early.

We left for school with enough time to drop off my ballot.

My previous Anthem Polling location no longer existed.

We got back on the road to school.

I dropped Anden off.

I then dropped Taylee off.

I rushed over to my old Polling Location by my old house.

I walked in.

That one too no longer existed.

They redirected me to the new one.

Which happens to be across the street from my work.

After driving for 25 miles.

So I rushed to a third location.

It existed.

I was questioned by the stern worker.

Did you sign?

Did you date?

Is it sealed?

A millimeter of the envelope didn't go into the ballot box.

I had to re-insert the ballot.

And then

FINALLY

I got my coveted sticker.

Third time's the charm?!

And I did all this by 8:15am.

So next time do I check online first for current polling locations?

Or just mail in the dang ballot?

Or continue to run around town all morning before work?
