Saturday March 30th
we kicked off our official Lake Season!
For a week leading up to it,
the forecast was clear sunny 90 degrees!
We woke up that morning to 65 degree completely overcast day
with now a high of 82 degrees!
BRRR! lol but we "braved" it anyway!

(and no we didn't forget Anden...he's already in the tube behind us!)
This crazy nut jumped into the 60 degree water without a life jacket and surf tubed!
Aaron brought his own personal bimini top!
Eventually we anchored in a cove and had a little lunch.
We even spotted a pair of wild a$$es
And then even found a second pair!!
The women and children took a turn.
My kids were clearly entirely thrilled with the "baby ride"
Finally we headed home.
Kyrrigan didn't quite remember some of the trip!
Luckily the trusty ducks were there to entertain us
as we waited to load up!
Oh and of course the "trusty" sun finally came out right as we were pulling out too.
Oh well we made the most of cloudy skies and freezing water!
We came home and crashed!
Ok so maybe just the men crashed.
Oddly none of the kids did!
Eventually we bbq'd and played all night at home!
