The kids were up and playing bright and early!
Kyrrigan is awesome at saying cheese with huge grins
but not so much at looking in the right direction! lol
Patriotic Breakfast on the patio!
(yes it was already too hot and humid for an outdoor breakfast but we trudged through!)
While the adults cleaned up the kids played.
Chalk time with their new patriotic chalk! :)
It was completely overcast and only in the 90s.
Perfect for a waterpark day!
So we loaded up and did just that!
Kyrrigan (and Taylee & Anden!!) were thrilled she got to be a big kid
and sit in the back seat with them!
The festive crew at the Anthem Waterpark!
Yes that's the big boys up there spraying us girls!
Aaron was wearing these ankle tape wrap things.
Sorry but I couldn't stop laughing at how they looked!
Here's one way to get Lyndsay in the water!
Showing our patriotic clothes, toes, fingers and pouts!
Showing their peace on America's birthday!
(or in Kyrrigan's case showing us she's "2"!)
We finally loaded up and headed home.
Everyone took naps
except my crazy kids.
Who capitalized on the un-supervision
and somehow figured out how to make themselves homemade air popped popcorn!
Needless to say we didn't know whether to gawk, laugh, scold or be proud
that they actually worked on something together in peace! lol
Eventually we got in our next patriotic outfits and had dinner.
I decided to try out a little pinterest drink recipe
Patriotic Layered Drink!
And who knew that it actually kinda worked!!
My best little helper!
Dinner Time!
After dinner I was able to force the kids to take a few quick pics
for me in their adorable little outfits!
Then we took a break for some yoga moves inspired by Kyrrigan
And back to pictures
FINALLY
the sun went down and it was dark enough for fireworks!
(I don't know how you other time zones wait even longer than we have to!)
We started the festivities
with what I like to call Tastebud Fireworks!
Then we moved on to sparklers!
Always a classic favorite!
Then one by one the kids took turns
picking out and lighting each firework!
Anden was beaming that he was entrusted
to light the grand finale firework all by himself!
Boys will always be Pyros!
Happy Fourth of July!!
God Bless the USA!
