Due to the abnormally rainy May we had,
Taylee's last two soccer games were rained out
and then postponed another week until after Memorial Day weekend.
So finally on May 29th and 30th
they were able to finish their season!
At Friday night's game,
Taylee manage to score 4 goals in the first 4 minutes of the game.
Yep she was promptly yanked out and then put in as our Goalie!
Hey we believe in the mercy rule for our opponents! :)

During our cheering Laiklyn cruised over to the team blanket
and snagged Taylee's water bottle!
When Taylee came out to rest and get a drink
she was confused why her water was gone & asked who drank it.
She thought I was kidding when I pointed to her baby sister
innocently sitting nearby! :)
I stopped counting at 8 goals for our team.
We did however let the opponent score on us
for the first time this season.
I just won't mention that one of our girls accidentally tapped it in on ourselves!
Oh well! We can't always be perfect! :)
Saturday morning we were back at the soccer fields
for the last game of the season!
It was a HOT one already!
The girls rocked it as usual.
They won 5-0.
Taylee scored 2 goals.
After the game we took a team photo
and passed out awards and coach gifts.

We've been lucky enough to keep most of the girls together
for the last two years on the same team with Coach James.
Coach James even stuck with us again this season
even though his own daughter aged out of the league.
We've had such a fun time with these girls and their families!
Some of us are moving on to Club Soccer now.
So we'll miss the others!
But hey it's Anthem...meaning we'll see everyone around regularly! :)
