The kids all have SO much fun together!
I'm always amazed that little 3 year old Kyrrigan
can keep up with my 6 and 8 year olds!
They totally love playing with her!
And now they have competition from Laiklyn
stealing her time too!
Anden hit that point when you suddenly realize
you're not a little kid anymore lol
Kyrrigan to the rescue!
Moving on to coloring
and dancing!
Laiklyn moved in to steal Kyrrigan's drink
while she was distracted dancing!
The little girls went to happy nappy time
while Lyndsay, Taylee and I headed to the baby shower.
Once we got home
the nonstop playing resumed!
I had promised the kids we would go to a park
since they were good while we were gone!
I'm not sure if the kids
or the men
had more fun!
We noticed there were a bunch of random pieces of cardboard sitting in the ramada.
Then we realized what they were for.
Someone had come up with a brilliant idea of
Redneck Cardboard Grass Slidin'!!
So the kids joined right in!!
Then Aaron decided he was still a kid too.
That wipe out was a minor one
So he tried it again....
And he made sure to have a bigger wipeout this time!
He crawled back to us wincing in pain.
Yes we were cracking up laughing until we realized he was really hurt!
Needless to say he did some ankle/leg damage
and spent the rest of the weekend hopping
and then on crutches and a boot.
Hhmm maybe it's our influence that makes our
male relatives break their legs! lol oops
So we went home and relaxed and iced Aaron's leg.
That night we went to a yummy Mexican restaurant
that's known for their flaming fajitas!
And no they weren't burnt!
Their flames are on purpose!
Unlike my cooking! lol
Mmmm such a yummy dinner!
Then we helped Aaron hop back out to the car
and headed home.
Later that night the boys did have to make an ice cream run.
This is how Aaron rolls! lol
