Sick Day turned Play Day

Date: June 15th

Ryan stayed home sick from work.

Which means instead of resting and relaxing in bed

he entertained 5 kids all day! 

(yes I know I'm lucky to have him!)

I had mentioned that he could walk over to the splash pad with the neighbor kids

but somehow they conned him into taking them to the waterpark.

He sent me this pic while I'm sitting comfortably in my office at work.

lol doesn't every dad haul around 5 kids while they're sick?

So I applauded his super dad stature

then rewarded him by suggesting 

he go take a nap get the boat ready

and we'll hit the lake when I get home!! :)

Hey it has been over a month since we've gotten out on the lake

and you know since he was already home and all...it made perfect sense!
(yes to me, not him!)

So we took off and did a late afternoon/evening lake trip.

Weeknights are my fave time out there.

We basically have the whole lake to ourselves!
