When we decided to head to Vegas for Aislynn's Baby Blessing
we asked Anden if he wanted to miss his game
or just leave immediately afterwards.
Of course he voted to stay and play.
Well let's just say it's a REALLY good thing he did!!
The quarterback had jammed his thumb really bad in practice 2 days earlier
and the morning of the game we found out he couldn't play.
Which meant Anden and another kid were going to step in as QB
and neither knew the plays or had experience!!
So it was quite the fumble...literally...for the first part of the game.
Then Anden broke away and sprinted for 2 touchdowns.
Phew we're back in the game.
And then the wheels fell off.
But hey we did really well for not having a QB!
Anden's TDs were our only ones.
Needless to say the other coach was definitely thanking us for
not having Anden miss the game!
Oh and Coach Gray's wife was out of town too
which means I have no fancy pictures of the game.
But somehow I did manage to get some after Mason
begged to have his hair painted too! lol
Then Owen wanted his hair done as well.
Which really paid off as he got his first interception afterwards!
Like I said
we focus on the small victories here! lol
