Today is the
Boosterthon Fun Run.
You know...remember..that one that steals all of my money each year
when only 20% actually goes to the school.
Yep it's that fund raiser!
Anden has still yet to figure out why I won't pledge him $10/lap
when the kids will run 30-35 laps.
Hhmm maybe I need to work on multiplication with him?
Til then they continue to get $1/lap from Mom!
Anyway they're excited about it each year
so therefore I pretend I am too! ;)
This year their grades were split up and ran at different times.
So lucky for me and Laiklyn we got to be at the school
sweating our butts off all morning!
But the kids did great!
I swear they're the fastest kids to get their 35 laps
and then they came over to play with Laiklyn
and beg for me to take them home after!
First Up:
3rd, 4th & 5th Grades!
Anden's class was the first to come through the tunnel
Clearly the staff hadn't figured out yet to turn the banner towards the fans
instead of the class! lol
Somehow I kept losing Anden around the lap.
On the "everybody walk" lap I managed to find him and Owen
Of which of course Owen was dancing as usual lol
Anden finished really early and came to play in the shade with us.
He loves showing off Laiklyn to his class!

And then I'm the mean mom that sent him back to class :)
Next up:
Kinder, 1st & 2nd Grades!
Was I surprised at all that Taylee was holding the banner?
Nope!
She's seriously such a great student and helper!
"One more left Mom!"
And then to play with Laiklyn in the shade!
I just love these pics of these two cuties.
Taylee can make Laiklyn laugh so hard
(and also scream...not in a good way!)
She just loves her big sissy!
And now I'm writing a check for $70 buckaroos!
