I've been wanting to get a little dune buggy go cart
for the family for awhile now.
One that the kids could eventually take over
when we finally get another UTV.
Well back in September we found the one we wanted at a dealership.
Then by chance we then found the wholesaler online
and could buy it for $700 cheaper...but it came in pieces.
So with Ryan assuring me he could handle assembling it,
we went on a limb and ordered it online instead.
A couple weeks later
UPS Freight semi delivered this 500lb crate into my garage.
Um are you kidding me?!?!
I definitely worried we made the wrong choice
of not getting a "normal" one straight from the dealership.
I sent this pic to my Dad laughing at what we had gotten ourselves into.
He sent me back a pic of one he was building too!
lol love his humor
Well Ryan worked 3 full evenings on that dang thing.
We heard expletives never known
and tools banging.
I just kept the kids clear! lol
Eventually it was ready for it's maiden voyage.
I was certain bolts and tires were going to fly off
of our "homemade go kart" lol
But wouldn't you know it - my husband really does know what he's doing! :)
So now we have a new toy that Anden (and his buddies) begs for us to take him to school in.
I guess Mom walking him isn't as cool anymore. lol
And the best news it's been a month and the tires still haven't fallen off! ;)
