We are lucky to have such great friends/neighbors!!
Many of them live right along our street.
I love that the kids can bounce from house to house playing with friends!
I love that the kids can bounce from house to house playing with friends!
Tonight we loaded up all 6 of us into the truck
and delivered Christmas gifts to everyone.
The older kids opted to ride in the bed of the truck and jump out at each house.
I was in charge of keeping Laiklyn in the vehicle at all times
while not letting her bump Ryan's leg
while keeping a binky in Eastlie's mouth
and finally while sorting gifts and handing them out the window to my messengers!
Oh and while reminding the messengers to stop fighting about who got to hold
the gift this time vs who got to ring the doorbell.
I was starting to warm up inside with the Spirit of Christmas
as each house beamed with happiness when they received their gift.
And then one kid hit another kid in the head with a water bottle
and that kid started wailing while the other kid got drug inside the cab of the truck.
Then another kid had a kicking and screaming meltdown that she couldn't go inside a house
and got carried back to the truck and thrown inside with the other pouting kid.
Then that same meltdown kid accidentally kicked Ryan's bad knee.
Then Ryan was wailing too.
Which made the meltdown kid wail more.
Then the littlest kid joined into our Hallelujah chorus and started wailing too.
Hmmm well at least I tried to feel the Christmas Spirit! lol
Anyway here's what we gave this year.
Yes cheesy sayings included.
"It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas!"
"We Wash you a Merry Christmas and a Germ Free New Year!"
