Sunday morning we woke up and celebrated
Father's Day!!
We had gotten Ryan a few different gift cards to some favorite places.
The day before I had taped the gift cards each inside their own card.
I asked the kids to draw or write ideas of things they thought he could buy
with the card from that store.
They did great coming up with ideas for the Amazon card and drew lots of pictures.
Then the Home Depot one through me for a loop.
"Whatever Mommy tells you to buy"
"Whatever project Mommy decides to do next"
Then Anden had drawn a picture of me asking Ryan to do a project.
They handed me the card when they were done.
I opened it up and just stared at it.
Really guys?!
That's what you came up with?
Their replies while smiling "Well Mom it's true!"
Ummmm I didn't know whether to laugh, be embarrassed or feel bad.
lol I guess everyone in the house knows what a good sport Ryan is
with Mommy's wild ideas for never ending projects! haha
Thank you Ryan for being the BEST Daddy, Step Daddy and all around awesome guy!
You work nonstop for our family.
We all love you so much!
And to my own Father,
we are so thankful that we got to spend last week in person with you!
