We got up early and were on the road to the lake by 8am!
We knew it would be a crazy busy day at the lake
so figured we would get an early start
and still get home in time for naps!
We had bought some kid size kayaks.
So the kiddos were excited to try them out first!
Oh such a rough life Anden lives! lol
Tube Time!
Aislynn even got her first turn on the tube!

It was SO hot!
Back to swimming in the water and kayaking.
I decided to even give it an 'ole try to see if my prego belly
could sink that kid size kayak!
Surprisingly it didn't!
Which doesn't say much for Ryan because he sunk it! haha
Aisy just chilling in the water too!
Aaron did whatever he could to find some shade! haha
The bow made a great play pen to for Aislyn!
Then floating on her own!
Heading back home for the littles to nap!
As soon as the house awoke
we were off to our next adventure.
We had booked a night at the Phoenician Resort!
I knew they had a ton of festive activities going on.
So we headed there to partake!
First we hit up the Carnival inside one of the huge ballrooms!
Anden, Taylee and even Kyrrigan rode the Mechanical Bull!
Then it was off to the bounce houses/obstacle course!
Next they raced to the carnival games
On to the Sports Games
Anden and Ryan hit up the Mechanical Bull again

The kids, especially Laiklyn and Aislynn, were in awe of the huge dancing guy!
Taylee and I ran to the bathroom.
What else do you do when you're greeted with a massive wall mirror?!
We finally left the Carnival and cruised out to the main pool.
While the kids played in the pool/splash pad/slides
we ordered dinner.
We all ate and by then the Dive In Movie was starting.
It's called "Glo at the Pho" lol
Tonight it was Disney Airplanes movie.
So they excitedly grabbed the free glow necklaces, tubes and noodles
and jumped back into the pool for the movie!
I forgot my flash was still off and attempted a pic of Laiklyn.
Yep that's how fast she's always moving! ha
Then we all got in the pool.
It's an I Spy to find Aaron, Ryan, Anden, Kyrrigan, floating Laiklyn and lounging Lyndsay!
Right when the movie ended
the Fourth of July (ok 2nd of July) festivities began!
A plane flew over head and dropped out 3 parachuters
that were lit with fireworks spraying off them and glow sticks/led lights!
It was so cool and something I haven't seen before.
We watched as they slowly drifted down in the dark sky towards us.
There was a big grass area that was lit with flood lights for them to land on.
They came in so fast and close to us!
I thought for sure they were going to knock out a patron or land in the pool! lol
But hope they landed right on target!!
We barely had time to sit back in our lounge chairs before the fireworks started!
Again this was a first to watch fireworks while still at the pool!
Much more relaxing than sweating at a park! ha
The parachuters walked out during the fireworks
while high fiving all of us and giving out glow sticks to the kids!
This is probably what it looks like inside Ryan's head when he comes up with a good idea! haha
This was such a LONG action packed day!
I can't believe even the two little girls were still awake at the end!
Now the best part of the day was when Ryan suggested that just Lyndsay and I
spend the night at the hotel and they would take the kids home!
(yes he's the best!)
HALLEJUAH!!! lol
So we loaded up 5 kids with the men, of which 4 of them were totally crying,
and wished them luck! lol
We did our happy dance and ran straight to our room
...where we crashed asleep an hour later!
lol the joys of being moms of little kids!
All we wanted to do was have some peace and quiet and sleep!!!
The next morning we at least took a pic of our one night of kidless-ness!
Then we headed back home to our crew that were anxiously awaiting our arrival!
