This day started out so peaceful as Lyndsay and I were still
kid free at the hotel.
Too bad it's impossible for me to sleep in though.
6am and I was stirring.
I did managed to stay still until 7am as to not wake up Lyndsay.
Taylee was already texting me asking when I was coming home.
I had already texted Ryan checking in.
He sent me this picture and told me everything was fine there.
After further inspection of the picture I noticed they were having
a healthy breakfast of Sweetheart's Donuts!
Well at least they were being fed! lol
This is what we came home to! haha
Then we had a chill day at the house
and prepped for the big family barbecue and Anthem fireworks that night.
I had planned a craft for the kiddos this year.
They painted their own Flag T-shirts!
We set their shirts out to door
and then finished getting everything ready for dinner.
Ryan's family arrived at 5:30pm and the party went up a level!
Grammie brought Laiklyn her own purse with real make up! (eek)
The girls were in heaven! lol
We stuffed our faces and then loaded up to head over to the park.
We got there about 8pm with fireworks set for 9:30pm.
The kids just ran and played and played.
And the most spectacular firework show I've ever seen began!
Seriously I love Anthem for many reasons
but this just tops it off each year.
I've never been so close to fireworks.
They were literally bursting right above our heads and falling down to the earth.
So amazing!
(and excuse my love for lots of firework pics! lol)
Laiklyn actually laid on my belly bump for a good 10 minutes and watched the show.
She never sits still! So I thoroughly enjoyed the snuggles!
The whole fam post firework pic!
Then we loaded up all the tired little munchkins and headed home to bed!
What a fun night with an amazing firework show!
