Thursday Dec 21st, 8:00pm:
The Taylor Harbeck Griswolds have officially
kicked off their Christmas Vacation!!
1000 mile road trip here we go!
But it didn't start off without a few hiccups.
The night before we dropped the Escalade off at the tire shop
for a leaky front tire quick free fix.
That morning they called to tell us that both our front tires were split
and we needed to replace all 4 tires.
Are you serious?!
So $1200 and our car was ready at 5pm.
UGHHH just what I wanted for Christmas
new kicks for the car!!
So we rushed home and loaded it up and hit the road by 8pm!
Yes Ryan already has a mouthful of seeds and caffeine!
Hey whatever it takes to keep him awake for that long drive!
The drive was abnormally smooth!
The roads and weather were great!
The kids slept almost the entire way!!
We did our usual 3am pit stop in St. George to see Nate and Laura!
Yes I even got the ole Escalade a new outfit for the trip! haha
Ryan about died when he saw he got to drive a big black reindeer! :)
The sun was rising about Ogden area.
Everyone woke up to beautiful scenery
while I pounded the homemade cinnamon rolls Ash brought over to us before we left!
1 hour left!!
Everyone's awake...which is why I'm in the back entertaining Eastlie.
We rolled into Papa Nolie's house about 9:30am.
Not bad at all!
The kids were so hyper and ecstatic to have snow!
Ryan said his hellos and then his good byes and crashed asleep.
So me and the kiddos hung out until we beat down his door 4 hours later
to come play with us!
