Unfortunately Ryan had to fly back to Phoenix today for work.
The kids and I were staying in Idaho until Saturday though.
So we made the most of the time we had with him before he left!
Up early and out on the RZRs exploring the fields
Then it was back to the playground!
The big kids woke up and joined us outside.
Anden made use of Papa Nolie's "extra landscape dirt" pile!
Then Anden got entrusted to learn how to mow the lawn!
His summer money making potential just significantly rose....well for Idaho not AZ!
Most people have fake grass back at home! lol
We grabbed just our little crew and headed into A&W for a farewell lunch
before Ryan headed to the airport.
Then we put the littles to bed
and just Ryan and I drove to Idaho Falls.
We stopped at Mom's house first to give his goodbyes
and then picked up Brooke to take her to the airport too.
Conveniently their flights were at the same time!
Then I ran back over to Mom's house after the airport
and enjoyed my uninterrupted time with everyone there.
It's amazing how I can actually finish a sentence with other adults
when I don't have my kids with me!!!
I rushed back to Blackfoot in time for my littles to wake up.
Then we hung out there for awhile before we loaded everyone back up
and drove back to Idaho Falls.
Aaron had flown home late yesterday so Lyndsay was single momming it too.
So it was her and I and 6 kids in the Burb! lol
We had a fun time hanging out with Nate's family and eventually Luke's family too.
However poor Eastlie hit her limit of being drug around and off her schedule.
She had the biggest meltdown I've ever seen.
Needless to say that was the sign for us all to head back to Blackfoot.
The poor kid screamed hysterically gasping for air the whole 30 min drive.
I felt so bad that I finally climbed into the back seat, unbuckled her,
then sat in her carseat while holding her.
We both cried together.
This single mom stuff is super hard!
Ryan texted me a bit later asking how it was going.
My reply,
"You better look into changing our flights back for tomorrow instead of Saturday!"
I can laugh now.
But wow that was a stressful evening!
I'm like well if this is the first half day without Ryan here,
how much worse is it going to get?!?!? lol
Luckily that night was the worst of it!!
