We were out on the RZRs exploring the fields first thing in the morning!
We even rescued a bird caught in the canal.
Then it was back for quick naps and to get ready to head to Idaho Falls.
Today was one of the main reasons for this Idaho trip.

After Ryan pulled it out of the water he realized it's guts were hanging out.
Oh oops...he probably wanted to stay there!

My sweet niece
Kennedy Christine Furniss
was being blessed!!
She's only a month old and lives in Thousand Oaks, CA.
But Jordan suggested blessing her in Idaho at Mom's house
so that Mom could attend.
After Jordan told the family that,
all 6 siblings jumped on board and bought plane tickets or drove out there!
It was such an amazing and spiritual day!!!
So much to take in.
My heart was overflowing!
We had our own intimate mini church there in Mom's house.
We had an opening prayer and song.
Then we were able to have the sacrament blessed and passed.
After that Jordan and all the brothers, brother in laws were able to give
Kennedy the sweetest blessing!
Finally I said the closing prayer.
It was such an awesome event.
Well except for when Laiklyn waited until the exact moment the blessing started
to decide she didn't want to sit by Anden and start fighting with him loudly instead.
I did my best to throw Eastlie at Brooke and then try to quiet Laiklyn,
who happened to be across the table from me pinned safely against the back wall.
I knew her mood and she's not one to negotiate with at that point.
She was only going from bad to worse,
so I yanked her out of the room
(um yes literally pulled her across the entire table as she flexed her feet to brace herself on the table!) as fast as I could and literally hauled back to mom's room and put her in the closet! lol
I gave her the Mom death threat and went back to listen to the rest of the blessing
and ya know to take a deep breath and recollect myself before I had to say the closing prayer.
Sheesh I wasn't the happiest mother at that moment! lol ugh
But luckily it didn't completely sabotage the blessing and Jordan
was still able to continue on.
It started raining during our little church session.
So we did some quick photos inside!

The rain stopped and the kids were delighted to get outside and run run run!
Then there's Eastlie.
She's just at that impossible to sit still stage!
Which meant she spent a large portion of time tied down in the stroller! lol
Eventually we all loaded up and headed to Freeman Park to see their
Flag Display for Memorial Day.
Even Mom and Brad were able to drive over and sit in their car and watch us.
It was really neat!
The Keeper of the Flags even gave us rides around on his golf cart!
My desert children are seriously in love with wide open grassy spaces to just run!
It's quite the rarity for them!
Laiklyn had wandered off to another section of different flags.
She was pounding her stick against a stand sign.
I kept hollering at her to stop hitting it.
Then the wind blown the flag open so I could read it
and I literally about fell over laughing.
Oh how appropriate for this determined child of mine! hahaha
So yes I yelled for Ryan to come read the flags too!
This may be one of my fave pics of this entire trip! lol
Then it was back to the more familiar flags
The little kids...ok Easlie...found the amphitheater stage
with a working microphone.
Oh they had a blast in there! lol

Oh that would be mine.
We left the park before we dismantled everything
and then headed over to Aunt Brookie's hotel.
Swimming time!!
Of course we had the party bus! lol
It was already getting close to bedtime
so Ryan and Aaron took Eastlie, Laiky and Aisy back to Blackfoot.
Lynds and I and the older kids stayed.
The kids had a blast swimming.
Except for that moment when Trex fell in backwards into the water
and Luke jumped in...in his suit...and no not his bathing suit! hahaha
Sorry I just had to take a picture of the moment.
One day he'll laugh about it.
I was just happy it took the limelight off my child trying to sabotage the baby blessing earlier! lol
Now back to those that did enjoy swimming!
Mia decided to take a liking to Anden.
She was hooked to his hip the entire time.
So stinking cute!
Anden and Taylee ended up staying with Luke's family for a sleepover party.
So I was a free woman on the way back to Blackfoot
with only Lynds and Kyrrigan!
What a day!
