The 4th Grade got to have Water Day!
Taylee was so excited!
The local firetrucks were coming to the school
to plow down spray the kids with their hoses!
We did our usual walk to school and then sent the big kids on their way!
Yes Laiky was with us but wouldn't stop collecting rocks for the picture.
It's always something! lol
Then Dad and I decided to have our own water day with the little girls
at the Splash Pad!
Right after this picture Laiklyn was walking out with her towel wrapped around her too.
A kid accidentally tripped her and she couldn't get her hands out of her towel in time
to break her fall.
Which resulted in a busted lip.
So on that bloody screaming note it was definitely time to head home for naps!
Later that afternoon Taylee's teachers sent me pics and videos of the water day!
What a fun time!
The next day was the 5th Grade Water Day!
Their teachers had decided to take them to....the splash pad!!
Yes you read that right! hahaha
The same splash pad that is across the parking lot from the school
where I take the little girls all the time.
And yes the school even made the 5th graders get parent permission slips signed
in order to walk the 10 feet over to the splash pad!
Anden was not amused to say the least! lol
"How come Taylee gets a fire truck hosing them down and I have to go to a baby splash pad?!?!"
lol sorry buddy I totally agree with you
So he decided to make the most of it and take extra safety precautions for the splash pad! lol
This kid cracks me up!
He literally wore Eastlie's puddle jumper floatie to school
and even brought Laiklyn's for his friend to wear!
So stinking funny!
Hopefully the teacher's got the point that 11 year olds are a tad too old for a splash pad! ;)
