Freedom Fest at the Princess

Date: July 5th

Oh don't be fooled to think that the

Fourth of July Festivities are over!

We're still in full blown party mode here!

I decided to book a staycation at one of our favorite resorts

that has the best holiday events!!

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess here we come!!

They move the check in from the lobby to one of the big ballrooms on these holiday weekends.
You know it's gonna be an awesome vacation when you walk into all these festivities
just to simply check in to the resort!

They gave everyone free fancy flavored lemonades

and super hero outfits for the kids!

We went straight to our room to unload

and lo and behold right outside our balcony was the zip line over the pond!

We immediately changed and headed to the sandy beach pool!

The girls were in heaven just playing in the sand!

Which meant that Ryan and I could actually sit and relax for more than 3 minutes!

We decided to go check out the rest of the events set up throughout the resort.

Concerts and fireworks each night right here!

Yes we did hit up the zip line!

I went first with Laiklyn!

So much fun!

Then Ryan and Laiky went...pictured below!

Poor Eastlie was too young and had to just sit and watch us!

Taylee was dying to come join us. 

So I ran back and picked her up from her dad's house

and it became an all girls party...plus Ryan! ;)

Eastlie was loving having to take a picture with her sisters!

Ryan posed for us too! haha

Ok it just took a butterfly floatie to make her much happier!

Watching them set up the Dive In Movie screen!

And then the Foam Party started!

They loved this!!!

See, I got in too! ;)

Eastlie just wanted to stay dry with Mommy!

Laiky going in horizontal!

 

Eastlie decided it looked fun after all and joined the girls!

Leave it to Tay to soak Ryan in bubbles!

Such a fun idea!

They loved the Foam Party!

And by then the Dive in Movie was starting!

At this point we grabbed a quick dinner and then I took Taylee and Laiky

to check out the concert and festivities.

Right then the parachuting firework man was coming down!

So cool!

He landed right on the golf course green

We took Laiky back to the room with Ryan and Eastlie to get ready for bedtime.

Then Taylee and I ventured back out to watch the firework show.

Then we cruised over to one of the other pools for the Glow Party!

Taylee decided she hadn't had enough swimming

and rushed to the water slides complete with a live DJ mixing beats,

flashing lights and fog!

This was definitely the big kid hang out for the evening!

She had a blast!

Then it was time to sneak back into the room and crash asleep!

Such a fun action packed day!

We just love this resort with all of its awesome activities.
