Early on Monday the tile crew showed up.
I was SO excited and anxious for this part.
This was my sole design that was going to be installed.
Let's see if we all still like it! haha
You know I was watching them like a hawk through the patio door.
There have been several "oops" from the different crews throughout this process.
No way I was gonna let these guys screw up too!
The tile is the biggest cosmetic focal point.
So far so good, they're following my layout.
In fact I can see they have a copy of it in their hands and are matching it up identical! haha
Good thing I'm OCD and spent the time designing that dang thing in Photoshop! :)
About this point they informed me that their manager
miscalculated and didn't order enough materials.
Are you serious?! I literally had the count of how many of both styles of tile they would need!
So they would have to stop right there and come back in a couple days.
I was definitely less than pleased.
But what can you do!
I needed this finished before we left for Idaho so that I knew it was done correctly!
A couple days later they showed up with more tiles and got to work!
They kept commenting how they've never installed this much of the design tiles before
and how they really liked it and felt like a fancy resort!
I wasn't sure if they were kissing my butt for delaying the project...or if they were sincere!
But either way I'll take the compliment! haha
And it's DONE!! Woohoo I love it!
And more importantly, so does the rest of the family! :)
