The next two days were spent lounging and laughing. Absolute laziness at its best!
The highlight of my day was when everyone was napping, including Jeremy. I was awake...alone with some tape and a sharpie. *insert evil cackle here*Most of the snow at Dad's house had melted before we got there. So prior to our arrival, he used the tractor to gather every last bit of it in the field in order to make a sled hill for the kids. They were thoroughly excited about it! Anden couldn't resist the brown crusty hay filled snow and ate a huge handful. I wasn't so thoroughly excited. C'mon kids! We've been over this lesson. Only eat fluffy WHITE snow!
We went on several rhino rides around the property admiring the horsies. Taylee went happy nuts every time she saw them! Well, at least from a distance!
On the 23rd the kids were going a bit stir crazy. So we headed back up to Idaho Falls to Luke's house. The fam all came over and we had a fun night of eating and video games for the boys. Again, my kids both smacked their heads causing more bruising. It's now become a contest to see which child can look the most abused.
Late on the 23rd night Lyndsay and Aaron flew in. Anden was thrilled and insisted on waiting up for them. They made it safely...complete with a Christmas parking ticket for Dad! That airport "no waiting" zone apparently is enforced in small towns too! :-)

I wouldn't refer to it as "abused!"
ReplyDeleteRather an "Idaho Brown Badge of Courage!"
(I still think they need helmets...always!)
Welcome the Graven's first Christmas.
