Super Bowl Sunday

We {LOVE} Super Bowl Sunday!!

We love it even more when two awesome teams are competing!!

We explained who both teams were (and their colors)

to the kids and let them pick their own winner.

Everyone picked DENVER BRONCOS!!

Well except Ryan.

He was the traitor that went for Seattle!

So we threw together a Super Bowl Party after church

and the ONLY Seattle fan in attendance was Ryan.

(Since we all know the outcome of the game,

he was beaming to say the least lol)

That morning the kids helped me assemble football decorations.

Ryan just shook his head.

"Honey I've never been to a Super Bowl Party that has decorations."

I reminded him to just get used to it, because this was me! :) lol

Then I reached into the back of a cabinet 

and pulled out football shaped bowls and platters.

He really shook his head at that point! lol

We made "Time out Treats" filled with popcorn, pretzels or M&Ms

The beginnings of the snack table prior to all the other food arriving!

I did opt to add one measly Seattle cupcake topper for Ryan

We had all sorts of delicious food compliments of the Mortensens and Johnsons!

I swear the food is one of the better parts of the Super Bowl! :)

We blew up the huge slide and the kids literally were on it ALL night!

Well except little Cash.

He found safety being alone on the tramp!

That meant that the adults could actually watch the slaughter game.

Somehow Half Time was the event that brought everyone together! 

The Denver family with one green outcast!

Too bad that green outcast was the sole winner of the night!
