Valentine Parties

The festivities continued all day on Friday!
The kids pranced into school (some more than others) with their bag of Valentines.

I gave each a kiss and told them I would be back soon!

Taylee's class just had a little party with no parents.
But Anden's class had a big class party and I was asked to help!
So I picked up Taylee a little early from school
and we raced over to Anden's school!

Anden's class is so cute.
As soon as we walked in 3 girls ran up to us,
"Hi Anden's Mom!!  Here's a Valentine for you!"
Taylee knew a lot of the kids too.
So she just blended right in!

The highlight of the party was the
PINATA!

Anden had told me for days they were going to break a pinata!
Somehow he managed to be first in line!

Every kid took a turn.
The pinata still hadn't broken.
So we cheered Mrs. Tryon into taking the final hit!

One of the parents holding the pinata pulled it up so high
that she had no idea she was just swinging at air!
The kids got quite the kick out of that!

Finally we were nice and lowered the pinata so she could bust it open!

After the party I took my 3 kids home.
(yes Grace is my self appointed 3rd child!)

We hurried and prepped for our next party.
We had already decided to have a Family Valentine's Party
prior to finding out Anden had Little League practice that night.
Ashley's family was in town so she really didn't want to cancel the party.
So we somehow fit it all in!

We ran to Anden's practice and cheered him on.
Then we rushed home for a late dinner, hyper kids and SUGAR!!
We had long ditched our festive outfits by then.
That's what happens when you start a party at 7pm!

We made the most of this fun day
with all our little Love Bugs!
