Idaho Vacation - Day 3

Date: June 21st

We spent the morning hanging out with the cousins.
Anden and Lacie's boys didn't get off the rhinos the whole time!
They were in heaven cruising around the property.
Then the Murrays left for a bit to visit their other grandma.
So it was back to entertaining ourselves.

At one point Aaron & Kyrrigan were in one rhino
while Anden was in the other.
They cruised up to the canal and around the fields.
I was super nervous as I had only allowed Anden to drive in the yard so far.
But he did great and was SO proud of his big boy self!

Kyrrigan was just proud she caught a worm! haha

Ryan and I met up with them soon after
really to make sure Anden hadn't driven into the canal!
Laiklyn's always co-captain!

Well if one kid gets to learn to drive alone
you know the other is begging immediately after.
So Taylee got her turn in the RZR.

Laiklyn and I chilled on the grass and watched them roll by

Finally the Murrays came back
and the boys were right back on the UTVs
making laps around the yard.

The adults enjoyed the weather and relaxing
while the girlies playing on the toys.

Ryan picked a little sour apple from the tree.
Of course Laiklyn thought it was delicious and just her size.

The boys continued their race track past us.
Jake is kamikaze and I was sure he was going to crash into something or someone.
Anden on the other hand was abnormally careful and cautious.
He was really making sure to earn our trust.
Well guess which one ended up in a minor crash?
Ugh yep my son! lol
Let's just say that 1800s water pump thing jumped out in front of him.
He felt SO bad.
Especially when I made him go own up to his mistake to Papa Nolie.
It's all part of growing up kiddo.
Luckily it was only bent a little and the handle was broken.
I fully expected to see Old Faithful come shooting out of the ground
when I heard that CLANK noise and the rhino stop lol.
Oops sorry Dad!

Then sadly the Gravens had to head to the airport
and then the Murrays were next to start their trek home to Utah.

So it went from wild and crazy household
to just my little brood.

I guess that means no more sharing the rhinos for Anden.
He made full use of his own the rest of the day
but with extra caution for jumping water pumps.

He was also in heaven that he could turn on a hose
without being yelled at not to waste the precious expensive water!

Us girls chilled in the grass avoiding Anden's water fetish

We made up a game to see if Ryan could throw those little apples
across the lawn and over the top of the shop.
So the kids drove their vehicle of choice to the other side of the shop
and would holler their loudest when to throw them.

My job was to keep Laiklyn from eating all of the ammo.
I failed lol

Then it was back to Drivers Ed Class

Well she was taking it seriously
until she saw I was taking pictures!

Next up:
Shooting Classes

Papa Nolie better be careful in that attire
he could easily get shot considering he blends in with the terrain! ;)

Taylee is my ultra girly diva tom boy.
Yes there is such a thing!
While she anxiously awaited her turn to shoot the gun
she got a random bloody nose.
She was so concerned she would miss her turn
that she says.
"Mommy just shove a tissue in there so I can still shoot!"
lol love her

Ryan had to take the long distance shot

The boys took off with the gun to go shoot birds by the railroad tracks.
The girls stayed behind
for 5 minutes
then decided we wanted to join them too!

While the boys were shooting guns
Taylee was posing her heart out
while asking me to take pics of her! ha

The mighty hunters...
well until Ryan got distracted when a bird flew by!

Back to my cooperative subject

I just love how different boys and girls are.
The boys are looking for animals to shoot
while Taylee is practicing her cheer/gym skills!

Finally we drug ourselves back inside for dinner and to relax for the night!
