Easter 2016

Date: Mar 27th

Sunday morning we had 4 littles on our bed begging to open Easter baskets!

(Ok make that 4 littles and a Papa as Dad came strolling in too! lol)

C'mon people it's 6:55am!

So we got up and sent them upstairs to wake up Lyndsay and Aislynn first! ha

The little bunnies before we released them to find their baskets

Goooooo!!!

Oh Laiky and your bed head! lol

Anden's always thrilled to get new church clothes! ha

#2 of the 735 times this thing was shot at me

Oh wait Daddy has an Easter Basket too!

Then we all loaded up in our finest non brushed teeth attire

and headed over to Papa Nolie's hotel for Easter buffet breakfast!

(Happy Eastrt to me! I don't have to cook for everyone!! lol)

We stuffed ourselves and then headed back home to prep for church.

Of course the kids talked us into a "practice" easter egg hunt

before the real one later after church.

So they tried their hardest not to peek while Ryan and I hid the eggs.

(The Easter Bunny had prepared all the eggs for us in advance & dropped them off)

Laiklyn quickly figured out there was candy in those eggs.

So she couldn't move on from one egg until she ate everything inside first! ha

While the kids were counting and devouring their eggs,

little Aislynn got her turn for some eggs and pictures!

Laiklyn "Here Aisy let me help you take that thing off your head.  You'll feel much better!"

Geez by the looks on their faces you would have thought we just threw away all their eggs! lol

Now it was finally time to get ready for church!

Riding to church in the back of Dad's car like the old days! :)

We sure do clean up nicely! ha

Poor Laiky is always an upset squished mess in our pictures.

But she's at that fun stage that if we put her down she'll bolt away! lil stinker

It was a great Easter Service!

The primary kids even got to sing a song.

Which means of course they took Kyrrigan right up there with them!

Later in the meeting Kyrrgian fell asleep on Anita!

Poor lil kid just can't keep up with these crazy big cousins!

After church we dumped the littlest ones in naps

and hurried around the house making Easter dinner.

Ryan's family came over at 3:30pm to celebrate with us!

It was quite the household!!

Everyone had a great time!

We tore through a delicious dinner.

I managed to only get an after shot!

Then the kids lined up for the main Easter Egg Hunt.

Yes there were almost 400 eggs!!

This one was a competitive hunt.

Whomever found the most got a dollar too! lol

And they're off!

 

And wouldn't you know

the winner with the most eggs was

TAYLEE!

And apologies to Mom and Brad that went home the previous night
and were welcomed back to Idaho with freezing rain with a chance of snow! lol
Maybe next time they'll decide to stay in sunny AZ longer!
