We started the morning with a Ranger ride
to go see our old neighbor that moved to nearby Desert Hills.
(it's 5 mins by Ranger through the desert yet 15+ mins by car!!)
Then we rushed home to head to Anden's football game.
They played SO well and traded touchdowns the entire game.
The other team got one more touchdown at the end and we lost.
Bummer! But it was definitely one of their best games so far!
Anden was a Tasmanian Devil Plow as running back.
He was spinning and zagging and knocking kids over on his way! lol
After the game Anden left with Coach Gray, his son Bronco, and 3 other boys
to head to Mesa to the BYU football Fan Fest event!
They later texted me this picture!
I immediately sent it to my Dad and brothers!
I knew they would know exactly who it was!
And they didn't disappoint. They all knew! lol
It's Ty Detmer the 1990 Heisman Trophy winner now turned BYU offensive coordinator!
The kids had a blast meeting players and coaches and getting tons of signatures!
While Anden was gone we dumped Laiklyn in bed for a nap.
Then headed to Taylee's soccer game afterwards.
She spent the first half as Goalie, which she never plays.
Needless to say I finally had to walk over and kindly remind her
that Goalies stay in the Goalie box by the net and not up at half field! lol
She's just so antsy to be in the middle of the action!
In the second half she got moved to forward
and was back in her usual aggressive mode!
They lost 3-2.
Let's just say Goalie isn't Taylee's best quality...since all 3 goals were scored on her!
But to her credit,
her defenders were daydreaming instead of protecting her! oops!
Somehow I didn't get a single picture!
Busy body Laiklyn has cramped my photographer skills.
Oh well luckily there's plenty more games!
