It's hardly imaginable that we are approaching the one year
anniversary that my Mom gained her angel wings.
We decided as siblings that we were each going to do some type of service
in order to honor her.
She just loved serving others!
So each family picked something and we all sent pictures throughout the week
as we finished our service project.
The only night that we had all 4 kids free for a few hours was Tuesday night.
So I hurried and made us some cool shirts
and we set out to the desert to one of our fave riding spots
to pick up trash and debris.
Taylee's friend Sophie wanted to join in with us too!
Some of us were more tolerable about a "service project" than others...
but in the end everyone had a great time!!
There was no shortage of trash to pick up!
Makes me sick the amount of littering that people do.
We came over a little ridge and look at what the kids found!!
I totally thought they were kidding when they yelled,
"MOM WE FOUND A DEAD COW!!"
Awhile later Taylee and Sophie yell,
"HEY WE FOUND THE MISSING LEG!!"
omg I didn't even look close enough to know that the dead cow was missing a leg! lol so gross
Overall I really fooled these kids into having fun WHILE giving service!!
Win win! :)
We sure miss you Grandma Christine!
But hope we made you smile a little bigger above today!
And of course the entertainment never stops!
The concert on the drive home...
