Anden had his 2 week post op appointment today.
He's been doing SO much better every day.
He was stoked to get cleared for more activity.
And this is what you do when the doctor takes forever to come in....
Then Eastlie was the doctor and gave Anden his check up! haha
FINALLY the real doctor came in and did the real check up!
The good news is his incisions look great and are healing perfectly! And he can now get in the pool!
The bad news is the nurses on the day of the surgery told us incorrect information
about 3-4 weeks that Anden would be out of sports.
Turns out it's a FULL 6 weeks before he can even resume practices.
A FULL 6 weeks that he can even lift anything over 15 pounds.
Gosh my heart broke a little for him when the Dr told him.
He thought for sure he would be back playing football in 2 more weeks.
But nope it's another 4 weeks of just watching practices and games! :(
What a bummer of a football season for him.
But I told him it builds character to be the water boy! :)
