Our seasons always overlap a bit.
We take down Thanksgiving decorations
and put up the Christmas Tree
on Thanksgiving night.
But the one Thanksgiving "decoration"
that remains until November 30th
is
The Gratitude Tree
I absolutely love this tradition.
Watching the kids excitedly think of things they are
thankful for always fills me full of love and gratitude.
This year was extra special.
Anden wrote his own leaf each day.
Some I have no clue what they say.
But he confidently jotted those letters down to say
exactly what he was thinking.
I am so thankful for Kindergarten!
Taylee wanted to follow his lead.
She created her own version of letters and drew pictures!
Yet still was little enough to end up asking me to finish her leaf
while she dictated what it should say.
We truly have so much to be thankful for.
We keep this up until the last day of November
so we can continue to capture our thoughts
for the entire month.
Even if it's being taken over by Christmas decorations!
