Happy Memorial Weekend - Part 1

Friday kicked off
FIVE days
of family and fun!!

We had SUCH a great extended weekend!

The Gravens came to visit us.
We kept busy as can be entertaining them!

They arrived Friday at 5:30pm.
And patiently waited on my doorstep until we rushed home!
The kids were so excited to see Kyrrigan and face timed her on our way there!
Then it was reunion smothering when they greeted us as we pulled in!

Dinner and playing at home were the events for the night.
We were going to head to the final Music in May concert at the park.
But who needs that when we had our own built in entertainment at home!
We played until we all crashed!

Saturday morning we got up and headed to the lake!

The kids were oddly quiet on the drive there
sharing a massive lollipop from the gas station!

Group photo before Anden bails into the water!

There were definitely more boats than normal out that day.
But that didn't hamper our fun at all.
We tubed, we swam, we ate, we played, we laughed!

The big boys had a flip competition off the boat.
Hmm wonder who won?!

Even Taylee's jump was better than Aaron's! lol

We love anchoring in a cove and just chilling!
The kids love being able to jump out and swim around.
And of course we stuff our faces with food! :)

 Peace Out!

The remainder of the day we chilled at home.
We bbq'd, we caught bugs, we played.
I busted out one of the old "toddler" toys.
I'm not sure which kid enjoyed it the most!

We crashed asleep hard that night!
Another 3 days of playing to go!!

  1. Yep..... I need a boat. I have known it for awhile but now we have really started to try and find something for a super inexpensive price that will just get me out on the lake!! The fun family times on a boat cannot be replaced with anything! You are one lucky girl! I am on a boat hunt. a serious boat hunt.
