For our Family Night last Monday we went to
Christmas at the Princess
I'm usually on the ball with knowing every seasonal event in town.
Somehow this one bypassed me until this year.
The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort
transforms into a winter wonderland!!
We had such a fun time!
First up Ice Skating!!
(yes real ice and real ice skating in 60 degrees!)
When we first walked up the miniature Zamboni was cleaning the ice.
The kids thought it was the cutest thing!
They literally didn't take their eyes off it.
Even when it drove back off the ice! lol
Then we paid the outrageous fee
(Seriously!! I guess they really can charge anything they want for ice in the desert!!)
and started our holiday ice skating!!
The kids were instant pros!
I couldn't believe how well they remembered how to skate!
We finally had to drag the kids off the ice
in order to have time to walk through the Lagoon Lights.
They were amazing!!
We wandered all over the property admiring all the beautiful lights.
We made our way past the singing tree.
And back to our warm little car!
This was the perfect event to kick off the Christmas season!!
