And now the 2nd Round of Thanksgiving!
I didn't know if I was up for all the cooking
but Lyndsay persuaded me to host Thanksgiving Dos!
I'm so glad we did!
Aaron was the Master Turkey Chef this year and did an amazing job!
(Sorry Papa Nolie. Somebody had to take over the position and we know it's not me!)
Luckily there were no windows blown out by a BB Gun this year.
Instead just melt downs by way too tired and over stimulated children.
But we trudged on and had a wonderful day!
The Mortensens came over to enjoy the festivities as well!
The kids always have SO much fun together!
After dinner they bolted outside to play the rest of the day!
The men disappeared outside too.
We finally checked on them.
Apparently they were having an impromptu mechanic bonding session!
They assured us they were still watching Kyrrigan and Cash though.
Which we quickly figured out meant they were watching
Kyrrigan torment Cash by not allowing him inside the mini car!
Eventually it was back inside for Pie Time!
The kids wanted to watch a movie in my room.
I came in later to see them all innocently and quietly lined up on the bed.
It was adorable.
So I asked them to smile for a quick pic!
The innocence quickly disappeared.
Grace immediately growls and pretend punches Anden
who is desperately trying to give her bunny ears
while Crew is distracted by nonstop loving on his mini crush Kyrrigan.
But never fear.
Taylee got the memo and perfectly posed as always! lol
I just love these little kiddos!!
And Crew found true love also!
We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I have so many things to be thankful for.
Although life can be so hard at times
I've learned that for every
"down" there will be an "up".
I try daily to focus on the "ups" in my life.
Because I truly am so very blessed.
I had to take the kids to their dad's house later that night.
It's always devastating leaving my children
but was a more emotional experience than normal.
My heart was crushed and I was crying on the way home.
But when I pulled up to my house
and saw the driveway still full of cars waiting for my return,
I quickly was humbled and remembered just how truly blessed I am.
I am surrounded by such amazing and supportive family and friends
whether they are physically by me, such as this night,
or holding my hand from afar.
Thank you. Humbly. Gratefully.
